Andrea Havill was appointed Secretary to the Board of Trustees in August 2021, after serving previously as Assistant Dean for External Affairs and Alumni Relations at the Maurer School of Law. In this role, she serves as one of six board officers and is responsible for overseeing governance compliance, Trustee business operations, meeting effectiveness, and record management. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, advancement, and governance, Havill brings a proven record of strategic leadership, organizational effectiveness, and board management. Known for exceptional project management skills, she has successfully designed and executed advancement programs, strengthened alumni engagement, and cultivated productive partnerships with boards, volunteers, and university stakeholders. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago (M.A.) and Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business (B.S.)
