Attending a meeting
Anyone may attend Board of Trustees meetings. Indiana University is a public institution and, in accordance with state law, all trustee sessions, including committee meetings, committees of the whole, seminars, most retreat sessions, and the formal business meeting, are all open to the public. The only sessions that are not open to the public are executive sessions.
Tickets or reservations are not necessary. Board meetings are well attended, and on occasion attendees may be asked to line up to enter the meeting room. You may be asked to open bags for spot checks.
According to the board bylaws, only members of the board, the chair, and those recognized by the chair may address the board. Please send email to email@example.com to share your comments and to suggest agenda items for future consideration. Public comment is not taken at board meetings.
