Committees and committee chairs are appointed by the chair of the board every year. In accordance with the bylaws, committee meetings follow The Standard Code of Parliamentary Procedure by Alice Sturgis.
The chair of the board is an ex officio member of all committees.
The Nominating Committee is appointed in alternating years, in accordance with the bylaws. It nominates a slate of officers, which is presented at the organizational meeting in August of odd-numbered years.
